Please do not throw the product away until you have talked with us. UPS may need to see any damages. No refunds will be given for circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, being given an incorrect or incomplete delivery address or if no one is available to receive the package.
Brothers Desserts is pleased to partner with UPS to provide a variety of shipping methods to meet your time and budget needs. Our long-standing partnership enables us to pass along to you flat rate fees based upon the shipping method and destination. (Continental US only. Alaska and Hawaii have additional fees beyond our control.) Flat rate options include Ground, Air, Next Day Air Saver and 2-Day Air in eligible areas.
Shipping ice cream and frozen desserts is a challenge. Our aim is to deliver our products in perfect condition, frozen and delicious. We do this with custom cooler boxes and dry ice, which allow our products to stay frozen (at around -50F) for up to 50 hours ensuring a perfectly frozen product. Because of the sensitive nature of ice cream and time constraints of dry ice, our shipping options are limited. In addition to wanting to deliver a perfect product, we want our delivery options to be as cost-effective as possible. We have shopped around and found the best option. We hope you agree. We ship your ice cream via UPS to arrive for afternoon delivery on Tuesday through Saturday (not including UPS holidays or the day following a UPS holiday). We guarantee that your ice cream will arrive frozen. If for any reason your ice cream does not arrive frozen, we will gladly reship your order or issue you a full refund.
If you are sending a gift, please notify the recipient in advance to expect delivery of a perishable item – melted ice cream is a bummer! Confirm that the recipient will be home or at their office and that the delivery address is correct, as UPS will not forward packages.
We will make every effort to meet your requested delivery date, but weather and delivery problems beyond our control may cause delays. If we are unable to meet your preferred delivery date, we will ship your ice cream for delivery on the next business day. Brothers Desserts guarantees that your ice cream will arrive frozen. If your ice cream arrives melted, we will reship your ice cream for the next regular business day delivery or issue you a 100% refund. While we guarantee safe delivery, and we will do our best to meet your requested delivery date, we DO NOT and CAN NOT guarantee the date and time of delivery.
Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order as well as in their order confirmation email. Once a package has been shipped, the address can not be altered.
There are no returns, modifications, or cancellations allowed on any orders once it has shipped.
*Shipping Rates above valid on consumer ice cream purchases, not for resale or for commercial or reseller accounts. Shipping rates may differ for candy and merchandise purchases.
Please note all packages are shipped via UPS and therefore we cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.
Orders can be canceled up to one day before the scheduled ship day. Orders scheduled to ship the same day they are placed can be canceled within one hour of placing the order. After this the product is committed for shipment, it cannot be canceled. Orders cannot be canceled once they have been committed to any point in the delivery process. Orders cannot be canceled because the recipient is unavailable. Orders that are placed with incorrect information (i.e. wrong address) that prevents direct delivery cannot be canceled or refunded.
